On 5 March, ULAB Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) held a student round table discussion on ‘Students’ Perspective on Quality Teaching’ at its Dhanmondi premises. The objectives of this discussion were to give students a platform where they could share their experiences, opinions on what quality teaching and learning mean to them, what do they expect, and according to them what are some of the effective teaching-learning strategies which help students to make the best out of a course at tertiary level. A total of 19 Students from ULAB Media Studies and Journalism Dept., EEE & ETE Dept., Computer Science Dept., School of BUsiness, and Dept. of English and Humanities participated in the discussion. The interactive session was conducted by Fariha Saleh, Senior Lecturer, ULAB School of Business. Dr. Mohammad Tareque Rahman, Associate Professor, Director ULAB CETL and Arzoo Ismail, Senior Lecturer, Coordinator of CETL were also present in the event.
