ULAB Faculty Members Completed Teaching for Active Learning Training
From July 11 to 13, 2024, four faculty members from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) participated in a three-day “Teaching for Active Learning (TAL 13)” training program at North South University. The course, organized by the Foundation for Learning, Teaching, and Research (fLTR), gathered 26 faculty members from seven universities.
Under the guidance of fLTR Chairperson Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, the training focused on enhancing teaching skills and implementing active learning strategies. Dr. M. Shazzad Hossain, Director of CETL-ULAB, conducted a session on the habits of high-performing teachers. Other key sessions covered topics like Outcome-based Education, technology in teaching, and evaluation strategies.
The event concluded with a reflection session and a certificate ceremony, attended by the Vice Chancellor of ULAB Prof. Imran Rahman. The training equipped educators with tools to foster an engaging learning environment and inspire their students.
