ULAB CETL Conducts Moodle Training for Faculty Members

On November 9, 2024, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at ULAB conducted a training session focused on the use of Moodle as a learning management system. Dr. M. Shazzad Hossain, CETL Director, opened the session by highlighting the importance and applications of Moodle for tertiary-level educators. Six faculty members participated in the training held on the ULAB campus.

Arifa Ghani Rahman, Associate Professor, led the main training, covering key aspects such as navigating the Moodle interface, setting up courses and profiles, managing attendance, using the grade book, assignment allocation, and troubleshooting common issues. Dr. Sarkar Barbaq Quarmal, Associate Professor in MSJ, facilitated sessions on content upload and question bank usage.

Dr. M. Shazzad Hossain contributed insights on utilizing Moodle for forum discussions as a tool for interactive teaching and learning. The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where faculty members shared their experiences and clarified doubts related to Moodle.
