CETL-ULAB Spearheads Faculty Development in Student Advising

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) at ULAB conducted an induction training on July 4, 2024, to streamline the student advising process. Eighteen faculty members from ULAB took part in the training.

Proctor and BBA Coordinator Arzoo Ismail has started the session and covered academic and non-academic advising. Joint Registrar Sk. Habibur Rahman discussed the open credit system and URMS, while Muhammad Aminuzzaman focused on internship and thesis advising.

Nazmul Hossain and Moinak Kanungo led sessions on ULAB facilities and co-curricular activities. Arifa Ghani Rahman presented guidelines for e-learning.

The training concluded with a Q&A session, allowing faculty to address their concerns. Dr. M. Shazzad Hossain closed the event, emphasizing ULAB's dedication to improving student advising and supporting faculty development.
